The Centre de Recherche Universitaire Lorrain d’Histoire (CRULH) brings together researchers specialized in the fields of history, archaeology, art history and musicology. Its mission is to supervise and stimulate research conducted at the University of Lorraine in these fields, whether it be regional, national or international history. The CRULH also maintains close relations with museums, archives and associations in Lorraine. Finally, the CRULH aims to strengthen international cooperation and to promote the work of its members internationally, whether through collaboration in international scientific events and works, or through publications in foreign languages (German, English, Italian, Romanian).

Le Centre de Recherche Universitaire Lorrain d’Histoire (CRULH) réunit des enseignants-chercheurs spécialisés dans les domaines de l’histoire, de l’archéologie, de l’histoire de l’art et de la musicologie. Il a vocation à encadrer et à dynamiser la recherche menée à l’Université de Lorraine dans ces domaines, qu’il s’agisse de l’histoire régionale, nationale ou internationale. Enfin, la politique scientifique du CRULH vise à renforcer les coopérations internationales et à faire rayonner les travaux de ses membres à l’international, que ce soit par des collaborations à des manifestations et travaux scientifiques internationaux, ou par des publications en langue étrangère (allemand, anglais, italien, roumain).
