Philippine d’Halleine is in her third year at Concordia University, joining the DePOT team as a research support officer for the summer 2024. Pursuing a double major in History and Political Science, she hopes to realize her aspiration to merge her two fields of study and her appetite for journalism, nurtured by her contributions to various newspapers, by actively participating in our ongoing study of deindustrialization around the world. This first position will give her a valuable first step into research, which she hopes to deepen with a master’s degree.
