Talking Violence: Oral Histories of Displacement and Resistance in Saint-Henri is a bilingual, guided audiowalk of the working class yet rapidly gentrifying neighbourhood of Saint-Henri, Montréal, exploring themes of political and structural violence. The tour stops not only at sites of recent political violence but also at former sites of industry, on side streets to hear stories of eviction and landlord harassment, and in public spaces where tensions between old and new populations further the psychological trauma of displacement.
