Lucas Cameron is a third-year undergraduate student at Cape Breton University, taking a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in history. Lucas worked as a research assistant one summer for The New Waterford and District Historical Society. This experience has sparked his interest in the history of Cape Breton Island. With research interests in 20th Century Cape Breton industrial history, such as the coal and steel industries respectively.
