Amélie is a second-year undergraduate student in History at Concordia University. Her areas of interest include the various cultural and social manifestations of death in history, and she is currently doing personal research on the emergence of the funeral industry in post-Civil War America. She has joined Deindustrialization and the Politics of our Time as communications coordinator for the Fall of 2022 and is excited to apply the knowledge and experience she is acquiring as part of the DePOT team to a master’s degree in the future.
