We’re excited to announce three funded fellowships for incoming M.A. students just made available at Concordia, Dalhousie/Cape Breton University.


Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia)
Applications are now open for the 2022-24 NSGS Master’s Fellowship ($20,000 = $10K each year) for an incoming student in the History Program at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia whose proposed thesis research is of direct relevance to DePOT and who will be working under the co-supervision of Lachlan MacKinnon (CBU) and another on-campus supervisor (Dalhousie University).  Candidates with a deep interest in the politics of deindustrialization are encouraged to apply. Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec)
Two DePOT MA Fellowships are available for incoming September 2022 students in the History or INDI program at Concordia University focusing on the intersections of either deindustrialization and racial capitalism, or deindustrialization and settler colonialism. The geographic focus of the proposed projects is open. Selected students will work under the supervision of Steven High, The MA fellowships are valued 24,000$ CAD (12,000$/year).
